| Pharmacological Effects | • Hemostatic: charred Da Ji has demonstrated hemostatic properties and shortens bleeding time • Antibiotic: alcohol tincture at a concentration of 1:30,000 demonstrated inhibitory effect on Mycobacterium tuberculosis, based on in vitro tests • Cardiovascular: water or alcohol extract decreased heart rate and lowered blood pressure in experiments with dogs, cats and rabbits |
