Action | Dries dampness, moves Qi, softens hardness, transforms phlegm |
Indication | Pain in both arms and shoulders with inability to lift the hands, numbness in both hands or superficial edema in all four extremeties, white greasy tongue coating and submerged and thin, or wiry and slippery pulse |
Remarks | Also for other patterns characterized by excess phlegm in the upper burner and lungs, such as cough, plum-pit Qi, or insomnia |
