Diagnosis Damp-Heat and Phlegm
Action Clears heat, resolves toxicity, reduces swelling, induces ulceration, moves blood, dispels stasis
Indication Saber sores (ma dao chuang) that are knotted and hard lumps (hard as stones), may be located on neck or shoulders and down to armpit, usually along path of hand and foot shaoyang channels or foot yangming channel
Remarks Also used for scrofula, goiter and other neck tumors
