Indication | Alternating fever and chills (both strong) occurring 1-3 times per day at irregular intervals, stifling sensation in chest, nausea or vomiting, headache, irritability, scanty, turbid, yellow urine. T: deep-red edges, thick, foul, pasty coat; P: wiry and rapid, neither floating or submerged |
Remarks | This is a half-interior, half-exterior condition; unsuitable for treating damp-warmth disorders where heat signs are stronger than damp signs or for lurking heat and constrained dampness |
