Pharmacological Effects | • Antispasmodic: acacetin has mild action to relieve muscle spasms in rats; when given as intravenous injection at 40 mg/kg, relaxes smooth muscle of the bile duct • Diuretic: intravenous injection of Mi Meng Hua preparation increases urine output by up to 75% in rabbits within 25 to 30 minutes |
