Pharmacological Effects • Endocrinologic: subcutaneous injection of alcohol extract daily for 32 days lengthened latent period and shortened estrus period in mice; furthermore, increased the weight of the uterus, ovaries, and testicles
• Antibiotic: inhibitory effect against Trichomonas vaginalis and dermatophytes
