Pharmacological Effects • Antiseizure: administration of 10% herb decoction at 2 g/kg has marked effectiveness in treating mice with drug-induced seizures
• Sedative: alcohol extract potentiates sedative effect of phenobarbital in mice
• Antibiotic: mild inhibitory action against S. aureus, E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa
